The design studio of TMDG was established in Melbourne in February 1997.
With the wealth of experience already attained in previous years, it was decided to concentrate and guide the business into the specialist field of design, interior design, and contract administration of projects within the hospitality industry.
TMDG has continued to expand from a two-man partnership to a small dedicated team of up to 22 people all of whom are experienced in their particular field, be it Project Managers / Design Architects / Interior Designers / Documentation Technician ./ Administration Staff.
After 18 years of trading, in December 2014 Ian Macklin took complete ownership and control of TMDG.
Ian with key personnel are continuing to develop the business to provide a complete in-house service to our client, a lot of whom are repeat long-term clients.
To continue the development and expand on the success of TMDG in Australia, it was decided in June 2019 to form a subsidiary Company George + Vic Design based in Penang, Malaysia.
TMDG / George + Vic are now working together on all projects throughout Australia and Asia.
